You have made it clear that there were omissions in your initial risk assessment, but then I appreciate the fact that you managed to identify the two aspects you had omitted, namely, vulnerability analysis and the impact evaluation. I am sure that you made the necessary adjustments to your final risk assessment to ensure that it reflects these two elements. Concerning the application of the five risk treatment options in the canoeing exercise, I agree with you on four of these, namely, risk avoidance, transfer, acceptance, and control, but disagree on risk financing as a risk treatment strategy for this occasion as I feel this cannot apply to the canoeing operation. However, I must state that you have adequately described what risk financing as a risk treatment option constitutes. Based on my comprehension of your definition, I think this option applies in some corporate scenarios and not a recreational situation such as the canoeing exercise. Thank you for giving such enlightening points.
