Your discussion of the greatest challenges facing security professionals today is wonderful because it draws from a specific case study. From your arguments, I concur that the security of personal financial information is a great challenge for these professionals. I say this because criminals today have devised high-tech methods of accessing people’s credit cards, bank accounts, and other financial data, along with executing high-level ransomware attacks. I think that contemporary cybercriminals like targeting personal financial information because of the potential illegal monetary gains they get from exploiting vulnerabilities in such information. Even so, I have noted that you addressed only one challenge, yet I believe that security professionals face several major challenges rather than just financial information security. For example, other challenges for you to consider are the widening skill gap, increased sophistication of cyber-attacks due to technological advances, snowballing complexities of business security environments, and the emergence of more stringent global security regulations, among others.
