Psychoanalysis as Freud defined it and also as the neo-Freudians of Jung, Horney, Adler, and Erickson defined it has had a large impact on American society. Even the terms they used have filtered into our everyday language and so have many of the ideas. What are some of the examples you see in movies, vocabulary, media, and everyday life?
