Each student will choose a book or a journal article addressing an alternative or complementary therapy or theory of health, preferably from a Nursing journal such as the “Holistic Nurses Journal.” The book or journal article needs to be published within 5 years by a credentialed author and pre-approved by the professor. Each student must be reporting on a different book or journal article. The student must read the entire book or journal article and submit a one page cliff-note of the book or journal article summary following specified guidelines. APA Format application and college level writing is a must. (Located in the Additional Assignments folder).
Students will respond to at least two/five (2-5) of their classmate’s posts.
| For this assignment, you will choose a book or a journal article addressing an alternative or complementary therapy or theory of health. The book or journal article needs to be published within 5 years by a credentialed book author(s) and/or reputable journal (preferably a nursing journal) be about a specific CAM therapy not just a general book or article about therapies.
You must read the entire book and post a 1 page cliff-note of the book, or read the journal article and post a detailed summary of the article. This project and your responses to your peer’s reports are worth 15% of your final grade.
