M – Measurable

To achieve this goal, the healthcare administration and leadership will apply conflict resolution techniques. Unresolved conflicts often lead to a significant decline in the productivity of health professionals. Proposed Solution: Eliminating unnecessary costs and employing more health providers

S – Specific

Participants: This is part of healthcare organization planning that will involve all the stakeholders in health sector. Some of the groups that will be directly involved in this process include the government, health professionals, and health insurance corporations.

The Goal: To increase the access to quality, safe, and affordable healthcare to all clients irrespective of their socio-economic backgrounds.

Setting: The proposal targets California Department of Public Health given that it serves healthcare interests and needs of many people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

M – Measurable

Realization of this primary goals calls for increasing the number of medical and health providers in California Department of Health. Secondly, in order to make these services affordable to all income groups, out-of-pocket contributions will have to be minimized and the bulk of medical contribution will be met by health insurers and the government (O’Neill, 2006).
